What little boy’s toy collection would be complete without a little red wagon? If your son or grandson doesn’t already have his own toy wagon, make sure to add that to the top of your list of gifts to purchase for the next birthday or gift giving event. Wagons are the perfect gift for active little boys and girls, because they promote imagination and outdoor play.
There are a variety of ways to play with these toys. One of the most fun ways gets you involved in your kid’s playtime. Just sit him in the wagon, grab the handle, and run him around the backyard. Your kid is sure to love the sharp turns and bumps as he gets his very own personal ride. Do take the proper safety precautions, however. Make sure your kid is wearing a helmet, so in case he takes a tumble over one of those particularly fun but sharp corners, he won’t seriously hurt himself.
Just as American as apple pie is the Radio Flyer Little Red Wagon. Celebrating their 90th year anniversary Radio Flyer has been bringing smiles to the faces of children around the world. The first product to come out was the Liberty Coaster. The company changed their name to the Radio Flyer in 1930 with production of the first little red wagon. It is also commonly known as the Radio Flyer wagon.
With each year Radio Flyer has adjusted their product line to follow the times. They made the Blitz Cans for the military in the forties and the lawn cart in the fifties for gardeners. The sixties brought about the scat racer which is one of the lightest and most compact ride-on-toys on the market. The seventies brought about the ski sled and the motocross bike. The company continues to produce quality products improving on styles and shapes.
