It’s common for kids to ask their parents for the latest craze in toys, and it’s equally as common for parents to ignore these pleas. To that end, one of the things that kids will frequently request is a Go-Kart. But if you’re having doubts and concerns about the safety of these products, know that there are ways to get around outright buying your kid a Go-Kart. First of all, make sure that your kid is actually serious about the request. If the desire passes in a few weeks, you’ll have saved yourself the hassle and money.
But if the kid’s desire is genuine, but you still feel he or she is too young, invest in an intermediate step. This can come in the form of pedal planes or pedal trucks. These are powered by the peddling of your kid, so they won’t get the same speed as a Go-Kart. But they are similar in terms of basic shape and premise. This way, if your kid uses this product for a while, he will be more prepared and ready to graduate to the real deal.
